Dongkwan Shin, Ph.D. (Solid-state Physics)

Research Interests
I am interested in crosstalks between oncogenic signaling pathways, such as NF-kB, Wnt/b-catenin, and so on. Recent studies on the individual pathway have contributed to unveil the hidden mechanisms under tumorigenesis, yet the exact mechanism remains unclear. As a possible solution for this problem, I expect that the regulations mediated by the crosstalk have a key role in tumorigenesis. Especially, I am now focusing on the contradictory roles of NF-kB in tumorigenesis.

Keywords : Crosstalk, NF-kB, Wnt/b-catenin, tumorigenesis.

Dongsan Kim, Ph.D. (Bioinformatics)

Research Interests
Don't you think that the cellular network which seems 'just complex' are well organized enough to perform its own function? I am interested in answering this question.

Keywords : Complex systems, cellular dynamics.

Minsoo Choi, Ph.D (Biology)

Research Interests
I want to understand biology completely with various methods. Especially, I want to get detailed information about cancer development in many biological processes through cell cycle and microRNA's original roles in normal & tumor cell.

Keywords : Rb/E2F pathway, cell cycle, cancer development & metastasis, microRNA with cancer, experimental design.

Je-Hoon Song (Mechatronics)

Research Interests
My research interests are mathematical modeling of various aspects of cellular systems such as signaling pathway, membrane transport, and cell communication.

Keywords : Systems theory, multi-scale models, stochastic pi machine, cancer modeling.
